Helmet and Personal Protective Equipment Detection with Cameras

1 min read

An AI camera approach for monitoring helmet and personal protective equipment usage in industrial areas.

The challenge of continuous supervision

Safety teams cannot monitor every area of a large industrial facility at the same time. Helmet violations can be missed, especially during shift changes.

Automatic inspection with computer vision

The AI model detects people and required equipment in the image. When a person without a helmet is identified in a defined zone, an alert is generated. The system can work not only at entrances but also in critical production areas.

Reporting

Violations can be reported by zone, date and shift. The goal is not constant employee surveillance but a measurable safety process that supports protective equipment usage in high-risk areas.
