How PMS-Integrated Guest Wi-Fi Reduces Reception Workload

1 min read

A customer scenario showing how guest internet accounts can be created automatically from hotel PMS data.

The problem during busy check-in hours

At a sample resort hotel, reception staff created a separate internet account for every guest, printed passwords and manually removed users after checkout. This became a major workload during group arrivals.

Automatic accounts from PMS data

IDNet can read room, guest and stay dates from supported hotel automation systems and create hotspot accounts automatically. Guests log in using defined information and the account expires when the stay ends.

Compatibility with different systems

Support for SQL views, XML, JSON, Excel, CSV and API data makes integration possible with different PMS products. Hotels can digitalise guest internet management without replacing their existing automation.
