Network & Telecommunications

Build End-to-End Network and Telecommunications Infrastructure

At M&L Technology, our network and telecommunications approach goes beyond supplying individual devices. We focus on designing reliable infrastructure that can be centrally managed, monitored and automatically respond to common field failures.

We combine the MikroTik, Ubiquiti, routing, switching, PoE, fiber, indoor and outdoor wireless, antenna and LTE/5G product ecosystem available through WiFiDepo with our NetRelay IoT automation platform to create more measurable and manageable network environments.

Enterprise Wi-Fi Infrastructure

Professional wireless networks can be designed for offices, factories, hotels, warehouses, campuses, schools, residential sites and outdoor environments according to coverage, capacity and user-density requirements.

WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 access points, centralized management platforms and suitable switching infrastructure can provide scalable wireless access for demanding environments.

Professional Networking with MikroTik and Ubiquiti

MikroTik and Ubiquiti product families available through WiFiDepo can be used to build routing, firewall, access point, PoE switching, gateway, controller and wireless backhaul infrastructures.

Switching and PoE

PoE switching allows access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other network devices to receive both power and data through Ethernet cabling. Managed switching can support VLANs, uplinks, PoE budgets and network segmentation.

Fiber Backbone and SFP Infrastructure

Fiber links and SFP/SFP+ modules can provide high-bandwidth backbone connections between buildings, floors and field locations, making them suitable for campuses, factories, hotels and multi-building sites.

Long-Range Wireless Connectivity

Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless systems can connect buildings or remote sites where physical fiber or copper cabling is impractical. 5 GHz, 60 GHz and other project-appropriate technologies can support building links, camera networks and wireless backhaul.

LTE and 5G Backup Connectivity

LTE and 5G routers can provide backup WAN connectivity for critical installations. Appropriate failover architectures can help maintain service when the primary Internet connection becomes unavailable.

Do More Than Deploy Network Devices — Monitor Them

NetRelay Ping Watchdog can continuously verify the availability of critical network devices. Modems, routers, switches, access points, NVR systems and Internet targets can be monitored automatically.

Up to four IP addresses can be monitored and predefined relay actions can be executed when devices become unavailable.

Automatically Restart Modems and Routers

If a modem or router at a remote site stops responding, NetRelay can perform a controlled physical power cycle after confirming the failure condition, reducing the need for manual field intervention.

Access Point and Switch Watchdog

Ping Watchdog can also monitor local network devices. When a critical access point, switch or NVR becomes unreachable, the system can create an alarm or initiate an appropriate recovery action.

Monitor Network Cabinet Temperature

Suitable temperature sensors can be used to monitor network and telecommunications cabinets. When temperatures exceed configured limits, cooling fans or ventilation systems can be activated automatically.

UPS, Power and Cabinet Security

Suitable dry-contact outputs from UPS systems and other equipment can be monitored through digital inputs. Power failures, UPS alarms and cabinet-door events can be transferred to central systems with timestamps.

Local Automation Without Mandatory Cloud Dependency

NetRelay automation and watchdog scenarios can operate within the local network without requiring a mandatory third-party cloud connection, allowing critical local automation to continue during Internet outages.

Multi-Site Monitoring with MQTT

NetRelay devices deployed at multiple branches or remote sites can publish telemetry through MQTT to a centralized backend. The lightweight publish/subscribe model helps transmit device, I/O and sensor information efficiently.

Integrate with Your Existing Network Software

HTTP GET/POST, MQTT, TCP and WebSocket support allows NetRelay to integrate with NMS, SCADA, helpdesk or custom network-management platforms. Applications can be developed using Python, Node.js, C#, PHP, Delphi and other technologies.

Multi-Location Businesses

Branches, stores, factories and remote facilities can be monitored from a single platform. Internet availability, router status, access points, cabinet temperatures and power alarms can be combined into centralized operational dashboards.

Network Operations Reports

  • Internet outage start and recovery times
  • Daily and monthly total downtime
  • Uptime and downtime by location
  • Automatic modem and router restart counts
  • Access point availability history
  • Switch and NVR offline events
  • Cabinet temperature history
  • Critical temperature alarms
  • Cooling fan runtime
  • UPS and power events
  • Cabinet access events
  • Network health reports by location

Telecommunications and WISP Applications

Wireless Internet service providers and businesses operating distributed field networks can combine outdoor access points, CPE devices, antennas, routers, switches, PoE, fiber and long-range backhaul solutions within the same infrastructure.

NetRelay can add physical recovery capabilities to remote network cabinets, helping reduce unnecessary field visits for simple modem or router failures.

Camera and Security Networks

PoE switching, fiber and wireless backhaul can connect remote IP cameras and NVR systems to centralized recording infrastructure. NetRelay can monitor critical network devices and trigger alarms or recovery actions when connectivity fails.

Combine Networking with Physical Automation

Traditional network projects often stop after routers, switches and access points are deployed. M&L Technology can extend the network into the physical field layer.

Instead of simply reporting that a router is unreachable, the system can restart it. When a cabinet overheats, it can activate cooling. When a UPS reports a fault, it can trigger an external alarm.

WiFiDepo Product Ecosystem + M&L Technology Engineering

WiFiDepo provides access to MikroTik, Ubiquiti, NetRelay and other professional network products, while M&L Technology combines these technologies with project-specific software, IoT and automation engineering.

From routers and access points to fiber backbones, PoE infrastructure, wireless backhaul and automated watchdog systems, build your network and telecommunications infrastructure as one integrated engineering solution.
